Kim Nix Named General Manager
After 16 years of service at the Dillon Dam Brewery — starting with host and moving up to Manager of Dining and Bar Operations — Kim Nix has accepted the position of Dillon Dam Brewery General Manager. Originally from Duluth, MN, she has worked in restaurants for over 22 years and has great expertise in restaurant management. The Dam General Manager leads the efforts of over 70 managers, waitstaff, bartenders, chefs and kitchen staff, as well as booking group business and caring for the restaurant building and grounds. Kim arrived in Summit County in May of 2000 to enjoy all things mountain: skiing, biking, camping, snowshoeing and hiking. She holds a double bachelor’s degree from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. Kim lives in Keystone with her husband Jake and three year old beagle/basset hound Humphrey.
