The Dam Wins Silver at World Beer Cup
Sweet George’s Brown Ale took the Silver Award at the 2016 World Beer Cup held in Philadelphia. Winners were announced on Friday May 6. It won in the English Style Brown Ale category competing against 50 other entries.
The World Beer Cup is considered the most prestigious beer competition in the world. Over 2,000 breweries from 63 countries submitted 6,596 beers for judging. The competition is held every two years.
