JJ Miles Named Head Brewer
JJ Miles took the helm of the brewing operations on September 6. JJ has worked for the Dam Brewery since 2007 and has lived in Summit County since 1996. He moves up from the Assistant Brewer position which he held for 6 years. See his Vibe segment on TV8 here. His most recent signature beers that he developed for the Dam are the High Speed Quadruple and the Spruce Tips IPA that we call Christmas in a Glass. The whole team also works on the Brewmaster Special Stashes that we offer daily. These are usually barrel-aged in Breckenridge Distillery whiskey barrels or special beers served on nitro for that extra smoothness. JJ lives in Summit Cove with his wife Jen, two sons Keenan and Finn and a dog and two cats. The Dam’s former head brewer Mike Bennett is moving on to work as the head brewer at Broken Compass Brewing in Breckenridge.
