Dillon Dam Brewery Turns 20
The Dillon Dam Brewery celebrates its 20th Anniversary on Thursday, February 23. It opened it’s doors on February 23, 1997. There will be a Happy Hour Birthday celebration from 3-6 p.m. with cake, $3 Pints, 1/2 Price Appetizers and the release of the 20th Anniversary Beer — a Chocolate Blackberry Imperial Stout served in snifters. Plus a $20 Seafood Pasta & Beer Dinner Special will be served from 5 p.m. while it lasts. And Special 20th Anniversary T-Shirts will be available. “We want to thank all the people who helped us. It’s been 20 years of fantastic people and we know that’s what made us successful,” said George Blincoe, Dam Owner. “It’s been so Dam fun, it doesn’t seem like 20 years,” added Kim Nix, Dam Brewery General Manager. “We look forward to the next 20.” A larger 20th anniversary celebration and employee reunion is being planned for late May or early June.
